I'm so sorry to pick on Kendrick Lamar but if it makes you feel better about reading this he won't be the only one. Maybe, just maybe pick on is harsh phrasing. Maybe the term case study seems more appropriate. Nonetheless, while Kendrick recognizes a call from God on his life, I'm not sure that he readily embraces what that call means. Yes reciting the Prayer of A Call to Repentance is awesome, and placing that prayer on your album Good. Kid. Maad. City, is amazing, but what proceeds is an incredible talent that meets the 'spit hot fiya' standard of the world. Nonetheless, I would imagine is utterly nothing more than a lukewarm standard to God.
John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commands."

Kendrick's new album How to Pimp a Butterfly has been released and he is now more vocal than ever about his stance on Christianity...COMING SOON
Kendrick speaks somewhat about his belief in Christ. (Explicit Content)
Below is Kendrick's unreleased song "Jesus Saves", a song about his lack of understanding of God's blessings in his life, after hearing bad news from friends, then finding $100 bucks directly afterwards. Until later he realizes he can bless that same person by giving them $100 bucks he found to stash his gun with murders on it. You listen to the song and decide for yourself what you think.
