I am Kors, aka "Blue Angel Bogger",  a screenwriter that hails from Atlanta where I took a serious interest in writing & directing after I served as an apprentice  to a prominent filmmaker. I eventually received some serious mentoring and advice from Director/Writer Spike Lee then started Blue Angel Entertainment, and later took a leap of faith to Los Angeles. Within less than two months, I got a paid gig to write a script based on the life of singer John Legend, which was a pretty awesome experience.  The script was turned into an unofficial bio. I penned an action/drama project, Run Cholo Run, which played in the Vice & Folly screening in Park City, Utah in 2012. Since then, I have garnered interest from organizations such as Sony/Columbia, Veralux Media & Fox. 

 

As a Director, it  was an amazing experience to be nominated for my film Entropy in the 2012, 168 Film Festival. My next short, LU, starring Nate Parker, was a 168 film finalist with 11 nominations including ‘Best Picture’, ‘Best Director’ & ‘Best Screenplay’, winning 4 awards and was an HBO/BET Urbanworld Official Selection. LU also took 1 award in the international One Lens festival and screened at a special Sundance board member event in 2014.

 

As a screenwriter/filmmaker it has been humbling to capture the interest of the “Big 3” agencies, ICM, CAA & WME as well as a srcipt which has garnered interest from Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way.  I am currently producing my first feature film along with the help of my beautiful wife and closest producer partner Kimberly Vandiver. As a husband and wife team we are always working towards creating meaningful projects that will have worldwide impact with God's glory as the sole purpose of every venture. This is the reason Blue Angel Blogger has become a passion. It has been said there is nothing more powerful than  the power of words. And I say -- Amen to that!
