Homosexuality is one of the touchiest subjects in the world right now, and the topic of Christianity and controversy with the two go hand in hand. If this is the case then why are so many people on the festival circuit and within the LGBT community embracing this Sundance breakout film, I AM MICHAEL? One reason could be because it's true. This biopic stars James Franco as Michael Glatze, the title character, a gay activist that becomes "saved", and upon accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior, begins to struggle with his homosexual lifestyle choice. Consequently, he breaks off his relationship with the boyfriend played by Margin Call & The Slap's Zachary Quinto. Michael then denounces homosexuality, and later becomes a Christian pastor. Wow...COMING SOON
